  When I first read this, I thought it a rather frightening concept. But as I crawled out from beneath my bed, I realized it’s not difficult at all to walk through EPCOT’s Italy without blinking. So there you go. Crisis averted. And no need for a sonic screwdriver.

  I have my AppleTV screensaver set to a Flickr slideshow of photos tagged “Epcot Center”. Photos of this angel came up the other week and I thought of the exact same thing. Brilliant. Also, anybody else think it looks like this angel should be holding a knife in its raised hand?

  I’ll admit didn’t get this first, so I googled “Dr. Who angel” after reading the comments here. After watching some of the videos that popped up, I’m pretty sure I lost a few hours of sleep last night.

  LOL @ Gary, though – we’re lucky it’s in the Italy pavilion, which can be fully experienced in the space of time between blinks haha…
