Good news, everyone! It was recently announced that IDW Publishing will release a complete collection of Dave Stevens’ comic series The Rocketeer this October. The stories, originally released between 1982 and 1995, hearkened back to the glory days of illustrated pulp fiction and were the basis of Disney’s 1991 film of the same name. [...] I was extremely saddened to read on Blue Sky Disney this evening that artist and illustrator Dave Stevens passed away yesterday. Stevens, 52, had been fighting a long battle with leukemia.
