Some Weekend Viewing…

Much to my excitement, I’ve just discovered that Martin Smith has set up his own site to present his now-famous park tribute videos. His latest magnum opus is an 85-minute tribute to Walt Disney World’s Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and their unrealized sister project Thunder Mesa. Check it out!

UPDATE: Foxx is getting into the video business too! Enjoy some EPCOT atmosphere

  • It’s infectious. Count Samland’s Disney Adventures in the video biz today.

    Sorry about the brazen plug.

  • Plug away! Progress City fully endorses SamLand – everyone should check it out ASAP. And the ride down the middle of Main Street is a nice briefing for my upcoming trip…

  • HA.. I had noticed the Friendships, and the III lurking under the Gateway Bridge. I’m sure they’re running different routes these days than they used to, but it was pretty rare to get backed up there aside from closing time. Nothing better than cooling your heels with a boatload of anxious guests trying to make a dining reservation while some other captain casually loads their boat…

Also, btw, I love the new title cards on your site. The Golf Resort version took me by surprise hehe…

The moment with the Friendships was for you. 😉 Notice the guy at dock is looking around like “where’s that other ship?” and then he suddenly looks off towards the Boardwalk, and there it is, siting under the bridge, broken down. :p
